Social Ministries

With the help of the Holy Spirit and in response to God’s love as told in the Gospel, the mission of Social Ministry is to support Lutheran Social Ministries of NJ, and also serve those in our community who are in need.

If you like:

· To help those in need

· Get involved in special projects for children and senior citizens

· Collect food and other essentials for the less fortunate

 

Then, make it your mission to become involved in Social Ministry.

1 Kings 17: 8-16 tells the story of the Widow of Zarephah who had only a handful of meal in a jar and a little oil in a jug. Elijah asked her for water and bread. When she told him she had only enough for herself and her son and when it was gone, she and her son would die, he told her not to be afraid, the Lord God of Israel said the meal will not be emptied and the jug of oil will not fail.
